MJC win Training Awards

MJC have been awarded the certificate for ' Going Green ' by South London.biz. This award is supported by The London Development Agency and various London Boroughs and recognises our commitment to save energy and reduce waste wherever we can.

I am delighted to report that we have won the Learning and Skills Council, London Region award for Apprenticeships 2005 in the small business category. In presenting the award, Jacqui Henderson, Regional Director of the Learning and Skills Council said,

" The winning organisation demostrates a commitment to grow their workforce by developing young people on their Apprenticeship programme and ensuring their continued professional development after completion. They are a shining example of how a small company can reap the benefits of the Apprenticeship programme in a number of ways, including improved staff retention".

We have also been voted the South East's best small sized employer for practical learning (2005) by The Edge Foundation .

Simon Woodroffe, Edge supporter and founder of Yo! Sushi said,

" Congratulations on winning an Edge Employer Award. Most people really discover what they love and what they're good at by actually doing it. It is great that the company is committed to giving young people these opportunities"
